Job Description:

My client based in Wiltshire is looking for a 3G/4G User Equipment Digital Engineer to start as soon as possible. The role in brief: Contributing to the design and testing of user equipment data products, production of schematic diagrams meeting technical and commercial requirements, producing and running design verification tests and working with manufacturing to specify manufacturing test requirements and to support new product introduction. The successful candidate will have experience: Developing relevant 2G/3G handset equipment (5+ years) Developing and testing the digital portions of 3G, LTE or Wimax products including baseband chip integration, low power memory systems, handset power management, USB interfaces, JTAG Designing low cost, high volume products and Using orcad schematic entry They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrate problem solving skills, have high energy and be self motivated, and be willing to travel to manufacturing site in China if required.
