GCS celebrates best Financial Results to date - May 2008

Announcing its fourth successful year, GCS celebrates an increase in turnover of 20 per cent (just below £28 million). Total net fee income was also up to £7.2 million – a rise of 20 per cent from last year. In the financial year 2007/08 GCS also opened a new office in Birmingham and centralised its French operations with a new office in Caen. Paul Winchester, head of sales, GCS, says, “Our yearly vision meeting and awards ball was once again a fantastic night of celebration and recognition. It gives us the opportunity to reward all the hard work the team has put in over the last 12 months, that has helped to make this GCS’ best ever year.” With employee numbers standing at an all-time high of 83 and with the companies’ recent ranking at number 30 in the Sunday Times ‘Best Small Companies to Work for’ GCS looks set to increase these levels again. It is soon to open a new office in Bristol; its fourth UK based office and is also recruiting for its newly opened Birmingham office, calling for all driven and ambitious individuals seeking a successful career in recruitment to get in touch. GCS has set ambitious targets for the team in 2008/09 across all offices and the team are ready for the challenge of achieving next year’s goal. “Revealing these impressive results has really encouraged the team and we are now looking towards next year’s goal. All staff are motivated and committed to reaching, even exceeding their targets in 2008/09”, concludes Winchester.
