GCS senior manager elected to ATSCo Executive Committee - January 2007
Wednesday, 27 August 2008
ATSCo (the Association of Technology Staffing Companies), a non-profit member organisation, was formed in 1999 to provide a united voice and positive appreciation of the value the IT Recruitment Industry adds to the UK economy. In 2005, ATSCo began taking members for the Engineering Recruitment Industry.
Commenting on his election to the Committee, Kevin Logan said, ‘I am delighted to have the opportunity of greater involvement with the only organisation that truly represents the IT Recruitment Industry.’
Kevin Logan joined IT recruitment specialists, GCS, in October 2004 as their Business Development Manager and a year later was appointed to his current role as Head of Business Operations and Support. In 2006, Logan’s management was instrumental in GCS successfully achieving re-accreditation of the ISO and IIP programmes.
Chief Executive of ATSCo, Ann Swain, commented, ‘Kevin has been a regular contributor to ATSCo over a number of years and provides GCS with expertise and guidance on a variety of operational matters, including compliance, legislation, quality, planning and risk management. He will be a great asset to the Committee. The whole team has a lot of talent and knowledge from which ATSCo members will really benefit.’
The 15 elected members of the Committee act as directors and are responsible for determining ATSCo’s strategic planning, bringing their expertise of running successful commercial companies to the table and guide the non-profit organisation. They also work on specific projects, which last year included ATSCo’s newly updated Code of Conduct.
Swain added, ‘Kevin and my other Committee members will face very different challenges to the ones they are used to in the year ahead.’
